All BNGE students who are ONSHORE in Australia will not be affected and will be able to commence as normal, on 11 January 2021.

Bachelor of Nursing 3 year program (BN – March 2021 Commencing) 3年完整的护理本科可以选2020年3月上网课 Students with an offer for this course who are offshore will be able to commence but there are some changes to the course structure for this group. ANMAC have made it clear to Bachelor of Nursing providers in Australia, that no more than one semester of the degree can be delivered in an entirely online format. As a result, we have re-organised the first semester of study in the Bachelor of Nursing program so that students located offshore can commence on March 1 2021, online in 3 units of study. They will begin their program by undertaking the following theoretical units of study online in Semester 1 2021:

401001 Primary Health Care in Action 401002 Bioscience 1 401205 Professional Communication in Nursing

Following this they will need to arrive onshore to undertake a one week intensive unit of study at our Paramatta campus during winter school session beginning 21 June 2021, (students must arrive no later than 19 June 2021):

401000 Professional Practice Experience 1

We are hopeful that a secure travel program will be operational by mid-2021 for offshore international students who are required to enrol in mandatory face to face practicum components during their degree programs. The secure travel program will only be open to international student visa holders. The safe travel program is subject to Australia’s successful management of COVID-19, and the gradual opening of borders with appropriate quarantine arrangements. We will keep you informed as developments unfold and future plans are confirmed.

All students who are ONSHORE in Australia with a Bachelor of Nursing 3 year program offer will not be affected and will be able to commence as normal, on 1 March 2021.
