BIRMINGHAM’S DUBAI CAMPUS GRANTED UAE MINISTRY LICENSURE

We are delighted to confirm that the University of Birmingham Dubai campus has been granted Initial Institutional Licensure by the UAE’s Ministry of Education through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). This is the highest endorsement that the UAE Ministry of Education can confer and the decision also means that we will now finalise the necessary work to ensure that all of the programmes that students are studying on are individually accredited by the CAA.

Once all of the individual Initial Programme Accreditations are finalised students will be able to seek formal attestation (formal recognition and authentication by the UAE Federal Government) of qualifications through the UAE Ministry of Education, something that we know students will find of tremendous value in the validation of the quality of their learning and achievement and in seeking employment following their degree.
