【澳大利亚】Trinity College 课程调整
新的40周的 Comprehensive program和Comprehensive Plus program将在2021年开课并取代原来的 MainPlus和Extended intakes。
新课程优势：
在一整年学习中，每周增加了英语和数学的教学时长，可以让学生在自己弱项中选择。
在整个教学期间，学生将会有同一组老师。
新课程会吸引来自世界各个国家的国际学生。
从新课程第一天开始，所有教学评估都是致力于学生可以进入到墨尔本大学学习。
新课程的教育方法为年龄较小的学生提供更多时间的教学。
会对每个年龄较小学生专门制定教导关怀体制。
新课程有40周的教学时长，针对英语水平较高能力的学生提供较低的费用。
课程特点：
• 12个月的Comprehensive plus比之前18个月的Extended课程时间更短，学生节省半年时间衔接大学本科。
• Comprehensive 和Comprehensive plus课程主要的区别，就是英语入学要求不同，学生入学后英语教学时长不同，费用不同，但是两个课程总时长一样。
• Tutorial 师生比例 1：15，Lecture1：50。Lecture的每个班学生人数比之前少。
• TCAEP 10 weeks 语言课程可以和 Comprehensive plus 进行打包录取， 雅思要求5.0（单项不低于4.5），TCAEP不能和Comprehensive 打包。
• 从2020年1月起Trinity没有18个月的Extended课程了， 也没有5周的Main plus课程，全部会被Comprehensiveplus和Comprehensive 课程所代替。
• 如果学生要达到6.5单项不低于6或同等水平，学生学费为$40,000，有$3000的助学金会在第二个学期抵扣。
• 如果学生英语水平在6.5分，单项不低于6，学生每周有3个小时学习EAP课程，所以学生有空间多选择一个选修课(可以选择4门选修课)。Studentswith English proficiency at minimum at or equivalent to overall IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, can elect to study an additional elective subject.
• 如果学生要申请的大学学位前提科目（prerequisite）要求数学Mathematics，学生在预科期间才会学习Mathematics1 or Mathematics 1 (double hours), 比如：学生申请的大学学位是 Bachelor of commerce, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Agriculture，Bachelorof biomedicine .
• 中国普通高中学生都有学习数学科目，所以Trinity一般不会建议学生学习Math 1(double hours), Math 1(double hours)是IGCSE或是其他国家高中课程，当学生数学背景不足时，录取会在Offer上注明学生需要学习 Math 1 (double hours).
• 关于Mathematics 1和 Maththematics1 (double hours)的区别。Math1(double hours)教学时间是普通Math1的2倍，时间上是占用学生2门选修课程的时间，但是只会算作一门课 Mathematics 1的成绩。Mathematics 1 (Double hours) has double the contact hours of a regular elective. For the purposes of subject choice, it counts as two electives. For entry to universitycourses, the subjects Mathematics 1 and Mathematics 1 (Double hours) are regarded as the same and, in this section, both are referred to as Mathematics 1.
