The Australian and South Australian Governments have been extremely successful in containing the spread of COVID-19, with South Australia in particular achieving global acclaim for its early and measured containment methods. South Australia exceeded 30 days with no new cases recorded. There has been three cases this week, however these were all acquired offshore and citizens returning to Australia, in to quarantine. There are no current cases of community transmission. As this insidious virus continues to impact our daily lives, the health and wellbeing of our students and staff remains our number one priority.
As you know, all University of Adelaide College programs were moved to an online delivery this semester and we have previously confirmed that this mode of delivery will continue for the remainder of the 2020 Academic Year (February 2021). We can now confirm that we are able to extend our online delivery through to the end of Semester 1 2021, for all current and future students. This commitment provides your students with the high level of confidence, flexibility and security required in order to pursue their studies with the University of Adelaide College. At this stage, there are some programs that we are unable to commit to for online delivery and you can view all the details of this at our Agent FAQ website page.
We are delighted to announce that face-to-face teaching will recommence in Semester 2. Students already in Adelaide, can return to campus and enjoy our newly refurbished Grenfell Street campus. A comprehensive and careful return to campus plan has been developed in collaboration with the University of Adelaide to ensure our community remains happy, healthy and safe. Adelaide-based students are expected to attend the face-to-face classes, unless they have compelling circumstances that require them to attend online classes. The campus reopened in early June to assist and support our students. Our return to campus plan includes a comprehensive program of social distancing and hygiene measures in alignment with South Australia’s COVID Safe Plan and the gradual easing of local restrictions. Those students who are studying interstate or offshore can continue to study online.
In order to ensure our students can fulfil their long-term academic ambitions with confidence, we are offering every subject in both face-to-face and online delivery modes, except for a small number of PMP and Degree Transfer courses that will only be available online.
为了确保我们的学生 可以履行其长期学术与自信,野心 我们提供 每个主题在面对面和在线授课模式, 除了 少量的PMP和学位转移课程只会在网上 进行。
