QUT recognises that COVID-19 has impacted prospective students in many ways, including the ability to access English language tests.

From semester 2, 2020, law graduates will have the unique opportunity to gain in-depth expertise in applying emerging technologies to the practice of law in global contexts.

Updates to the International Merit Scholarship

The International Merit Scholarship is a high achievement scholarship for future international undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarship covers 25% of your tuition fees for your first two semesters (one year) of study at QUT, provided you meet the minimum academic standards.

The Faculty of Health has now approved to extend the scholarship to cover the following three postgraduates courses:

Supporting international students through COVID-19

International students are a vital part of QUT’s community and provide vibrancy and diversity to the university and the wider community. The QUT community of staff, students, alumni and other supporters have been generous in coming together to support our international students through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like many others during this pandemic, international students have been affected by loss of casual employment, reduced working hours, and impacts from family support in home countries. QUT's Equity Scholarship Scheme is the largest university scheme of its kind in Australia and distributes more than $5 million each year.
