The UniSA plan for Semester 2 2020 (Study Period 5 and 6)
To assist you with your recruitment efforts, I am pleased to share that UniSA will be offering an online option for students offshore who wish to commence with UniSA in Semester 2 2020. The Admissions team will begin re-issuing offers next week for students who have applied for a degree that can commence online. Your students may receive a revised offer to commence in either Study Period 5 (July/August) or Study Period 6 (September). The additional study period in September allows us to increase the number of degrees we can offer with an online course commencement offshore. Each student will be provided with a personalised enrolment plan for their first two study periods.
Unfortunately, there are some degrees that students will not be able to commence online due to practical components and placements. In these instances, the Admissions team will issue a deferred offer to the next available intake.
While our immediate focus will be on re-issuing offers for students who are not eligible for credit, should you have students who are awarded credit and are interested in starting their study in online mode while offshore, please let us know and we will prioritise the assessment of their application.
Students who are onshore in Australia will be able to accept and commence as per the original offer they received. We are looking forward to a return to campus for our Study Period 5 commencement and will provide further information regarding Study Period 5 to students onshore in Australia soon.
Fees for online study UniSA recognises that enrolment in online courses is not your student’s first choice and as a result we will extend the reduced overseas online fee structure of A$2875 (per 4.5 unit course) to all courses studied in online mode while offshore. While the Admissions team will provide students with a recommended enrolment plan of 2 courses per study period, they will have the flexibility to vary their enrolment plan and increase or decrease the number of courses.
Scholarships Students who are eligible for the International Merit Scholarship and choose to undertake online study offshore, will have their scholarship applied once they commence a study period in Australia. The International Merit Scholarship will be applied across the first 36 units of study completed at the normal onshore program fee. 符合国际优秀学生奖学金资格并选择在海外进行在线学习的学生，一旦开始在澳大利亚学习，将申请奖学金。国际优秀学生奖学金将适用于以正常在岸项目费用完成的前36个学习单元。
Students who are eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship will have their scholarship applied from commencement of their offshore online study and the scholarship will continue once they arrive in Australia.
