Coronavirus (COVID-19): Information update
When we sent you a newsletter last month, we acknowledged the impact COVID-19 was having on our students, our institution, and you, our agent partners. Unfortunately, that impact has not abated and it has called on all of our collaboration, resilience and creativity as we work together to find solutions, to support our students through an incredibly challenging period, and to look to the future in terms of student recruitment. 我们一起努力寻找解决方案,支持我们的学生度过一个极具挑战性的时期,并在招生方面展望未来。 We appreciate the role that you have played in this, rapidly adjusting the way you work, and the way you work with us, to support the ongoing provision of information to students and their families who are considering future study options. We are pleased to be able to provide an update regarding Griffith's plans for teaching in Trimester 2, 2020: 我们很高兴能够提供格里菲斯在2020年T2的教学计划的更新:
Trimester dates Trimester 2, 2020 will commence one week later than originally scheduled, on 13 July 2020. Trimester 3, 2020 will now commence on 2 November 2020. The University has updated its academic calendar to reflect this. As teaching has transitioned to online delivery, so has the provision of student services, support and engagement. Students have full online access to the International Student Advisory, Online Health and Wellness Centre, Careers and Employment, and more. Recognising that many students and their families have been deeply impacted by COVID-19, we have implemented a range of support options. These have included: a COVID-19 Student Support Bursary of up to $1,500 to assist with the transition to online learning through the purchase of technology or internet access; repurposing of 1,000 campus computers to be loaned to students for home use; flexible application of academic payment plans; and allowing students to reduce their study load and fee liability where appropriate.
