As we are all experiencing the challenges of the COVID-19, GETI would like to share some information on the current situation in Tasmania and provide FAQ as at 3 April 2020:

· As of Midnight 20 March, only Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents and immediate family members can travel to Australia. -从3月20日午夜开始,只有澳大利亚公民、永久居民和直系亲属才能前往澳大利亚。 · Whilst this measure is in place, students will be unable to arrive and commence their studies. -在这项措施实施期间,学生将无法抵达并开始他们的学习。 · Circumstances and advice will change throughout the coming weeks, and GETI will inform agents and students as required. -情况和建议将在未来几周发生变化,GETI将根据需要通知代理和学生。 2. Tasmanian Border Restrictions · Any students who are already in Australia and travel to Tasmania, will be required to self-isolate for 14 days (Coronavirus COVID-19 isolation guidance). This applies to all travellers, including Australian citizens.- 任何学生都已经在澳大利亚和旅游塔斯马尼亚,将所需自我隔离14天 (冠状病毒COVID-19 隔离 指导)。 这适用于所有旅客,包括澳大利亚公民。 · This Tasmanian self-isolation requirement is in addition to Australian Government requirements for all returning international travellers and specified cruise passengers to enter self-isolation at their point of arrival into Australia. · Tasmania has declared a State of Emergency with strict requirements to self-isolate, unless undertaking essential activities such as work, study, seeking medical care and basic needs such as food. 3. Students 3.1 STUDENTS WISHING TO RETURN HOME IMMEDIATELY · Students returning home are advised to seek specific advice from their travel agent around international travel at this time. · TasTAFE students should contact their International Student Advisor (ISA) for the latest information that may impact on their travel and their study program. In addition to seeking advice regarding international travel, school students must: 除了寻求有关国际旅行的建议外,学生还必须: · Inform their homestay host of intended travel arrangements, including departure date and time -告知寄宿家庭主人预定的旅行安排,包括出发日期和时间 · Obtain parental consent via email, specifically acknowledging the request to return home prior to completion of study period. -通过电子邮件获得父母的同意,明确承认在学习期间结束前返回家园的请求。 · Provide flight itineraries (required for both interstate and overseas flights) and -所需提供的航班行程(包括州际和海外航班) · School students should send both parental consent and flight itineraries to GETI via email to: homestay@geti.tas.gov.au -学生应该向父母同意和飞行旅程GETI通过电子邮件: homestay@geti.tas.gov.au · There may be financial implications of returning home early. 3.3 IF STUDENTS DEVELOP FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS While coronavirus is of concern, it is important to remember that people may display symptoms of a common cold or flu and not have COVID 19. -虽然冠状病毒令人担忧,但重要的是要记住,人们可能表现出普通感冒或流感的症状,而没有冠状病毒。 If a student appears unwell, they should be kept at home as per Public Health advice. -如果学生出现不适,应按照公共卫生建议将其留在家中。
