With the current changes happening globally, we wanted to update you about what CQUniversity is doing to manage the Covid-19 situation, and to support our valued partner networks. With the recent travel restrictions preventing students from travelling to study with CQUniversity in Australia as planned, we are looking to offer options to students to commence study online or prepare for the transition to study in Australia in the future.

We understand students are feeling anxious about the impact to their study plans, and those students in Australia will be also facing other challenges. CQUniversity has been in regular phone and email contact with all international students to provide updates and support as all teaching moves from face-to-face to online. We have also offered all students today the opportunity to manage their enrolment load and we have put a payment plan process in place for their Term 1 fees for any student needing assistance.

The Academic Learning Centre, academic support, counselling and careers services continue to be available for students. At this stage our campuses remain open, however should this change the services and staff continue to be available online and through email and phone.

All access to the CQUniversity online study portals and sites is secure, giving students confidence that their work and contributions in class are secure.

Many graduates of CQUniversity have completed their full degrees through online study with the University, and are part of the excellent reported outcomes for graduate fulltime employment and higher than Australian average graduate salary received by CQUni graduates.

General Information

The Australian government has announced that as of Friday 9.00pm 20th March entry will be restricted to Australian citizens, permanent residents, their spouses and dependents. This means that unless students have arrived in Australia prior to this time they will be unable to enter the country until this advice is changed.

CQUniversity continues to closely monitor the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will provide updates through this page here. Please check back on a daily basis for the latest information on how we are managing the situation.
