From October 2019, a New Zealand ElectronicTravel Authority (NZeTA) is required for all visa waiver countries
We would like to share with you some important new information regardingtravel to New Zealand.
Starting from 1 October 2019, all visitors to New Zealand must hold eithera visa or a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA).
There is no change to the existing rules for travelers arriving withstudent visas (or other visa types) and travelers arriving from non-visa waivercountries. However, visitors from visa waiver countries who do not hold avisa must apply for an NZeTA in order to enter the country startingfrom 1 October.
Visa waiver countries include Malaysia,Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Brazil, Argentina,Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and many more. See here for a full list.

Parents visiting family in New Zealand 去新西兰拜访家人
Students on short-term study programmes 短期学习的学生
Tour group students 游学团学生
The process to obtain an NZeTA is simple, andnormally responses are received within one day. However, it is recommended that you apply foran NZeTA now, to ensure one is granted before your traveldates. Once granted, the NZeTA is valid for two years.
